What review rating system do you employ?
I use a five star rating. I also give half points.
If I do not finish a book, I do not rate it. The ones I dislike are 1, middle ground are 3, and my favorites are 5. 2's and 4's are obviously somewhere in between love and hate. I explain my reviews in words more than numbers. So people catch on quick how my rating at the end goes.
**This is a reading challenge post.
Sounds like an interesting book. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI've got the same rule for myself that if I didn't finish it, I'm not reviewing it. And usually my review also makes more sense of my rating, because it goes into more detail xD Your book sounds really interesting! I'm from 2 different backgrounds as well (although ethnically the same) so I kind of relate to Koy's point! I hope you have a lovely weekend :)

I review DNF's I just don't rate them. It's not fair to the author or other readers if I rate an unfinished title.
DeleteThis book sounds intriguing. I use the 5 star rating system. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone ☕☀️📚💜😊
ReplyDeleteThis sounds intriguing, Freda
ReplyDeleteI don't rate books I don't finish either. I don't give partial stars. I forgot to mention that on my post. Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't rate books in my own reviews, only on Amazon and Goodreads. I'm late visiting First Lines/56 this time around but I hope you're having a good reading week!
