June Monthly News

 Welcome to the June 2023 edition of monthly news!
 
We started out the month in a heatwave. I'm sure this is just the first of many to come this summer. Although it only lasted a couple of days and then it felt like fall again.... Weather in Canada, YAY!

The hubby and I went on a nice hike and found a tiny waterfall.
(I live in the Waterfall Capital Of The World!)
We have over 100 waterfalls in my city. This was just one of many, and also one we had no idea it existed.
I shot a little video when we found the 'park'. It was thirty something degrees Celsius, but we had water and sunscreen on.
Best part: we were the only ones there.

I also added to my tattoo collection.
One for my grandson born last month...
And then I got a bookish one... just because....
I love them.

Father's Day is usually tough. My Dad passed in 2008 and the hubby doesn't like hoopla, so it's usually low-key. This year we drove up North to see our granddaughters, and it was the best day ever!

There really is nothing sweeter in life than spending time with the next generation of your family.

Just as you have the best day, the worst day comes....
My favorite uncle passed away.

He wasn't well for many years, had various cancers throughout his body. Still, believe it or not, it was sudden. We were told he had pneumonia and it was treatable. Then he died a few days later. 

I'm not going to be okay for a while..... 
But I already scheduled my memorial tattoo for him. 
Wait for it...

Went with my sister to the Hamilton Tiger Cats home opener game. It was so much fun even if they lost and we got soaked.
I look forward to watching them win next time!!!

Then we attended MurrMania.
That's an annual party at my other sister's house. There's cornhole, flip cup and beer pong tournaments.

It's always a great night, but honestly, my liver is thankful it's only once a year!

I didn't read much, but I made a lot of memories. 
Some were better than others....
