Q:   Do you enjoy reading romance novels? If so, which romance trope is your favorite?
A: I do, but not very often. If I do, it's usually a rom com or a Harlequin novel. Harlequin novels are consistently good for a quick read and I get over slumps with rom coms. They are often light reads, even YA and I like it. Just not more than thriller, mystery, horror..... Halloween before Valentines, folks. At least here.

Comments

  1. I don't usually enjoy romance novels because I find them so predictable. Or maybe I just pick bad ones. I should really pay attention to more romance novel reviews to figure out the ones I would like.

  2. I really need to check out some of these short stories. This one looks particularly interesting to me, partly because I've had my eye on Harrow's other novels for a while now. A shorter story might be a great introduction. Have a great weekend!

  4. I'm laughing at Halloween over Valentine's Day. Most of my books have strong romantic sub-plots, so I feel like they are almost equal in my reading choices.

  5. I have to agree with Deb, that blurb is chilling. Happy Friday Freda 😉

  6. This sound so good! I have read a couple other books by Alix E. Harrow and enjoyed them.

I find romcoms are good slump breakers for me too.

Have a great weekend! Thank you for hosting. :-)

  7. I don't read traditional romance anymore since I started reading queer ones, but the tropes are pretty similar
