Another tempting book!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of Tom Wilson before, so I read your review of his book. And I agree when you wrote 'Sometimes it is better to just be a fan, and not know so much about a person though.' I've had that same reaction when I've read a memoir or biography of an author whose books I've enjoyed and discovered that I don't like the person as much as their books.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time in joining in the Friday 56. Thank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating!! I hope to see you regularly!!
DeleteYour Friday 56 sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually re read books - I don't really have the time. I also have a good memory, but how long that will last 😂
Have a great weekend!

This sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like memoirs, but admit I don't know who Tom Wilson is so will have to look up this one. I was late getting Book Beginnings up this week, but it's there now.
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting. I hope you enjoy it! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteIs Beautiful Scars nonfiction? I am guessing it is from the opening quotes. Hmm. A Very early memory, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteMy Friday quotes
It is nonfiction.
DeleteIf it been awhile then I re-read a book in a series.
