Idris Elba stars in this pulse-pounding thriller as Dr. Nate Daniels, a recently widowed husband who returns to South Africa on a long-planned trip to a game reserve. What begins as a journey of healing turns into a fearsome fight for survival as Dr. Daniels and his daughters find themselves hunted by a massive, rogue lion intent on proving that the savannah has but one apex predator.





REVIEW:
Sat down with the hubby to watch this one, both of us hoping for some action.
We got that but it did take a few minutes to get there. Once it got there though, it picked up speed and was intense.
There were moments where you couldn't help wonder why they always make people so oblivious in a movie. They always run towards the bad noises instead of away from. They try to do things they know they shouldn't, and people end up dying. It's a little annoying at this point. I felt like it was a super cheesy role to put an actor like Idris Elba in. Sorry, not sorry.
Still it was a good story, if you can get past the predictability.
