Welcome to the November edition of monthly news!
A rough month for me. Mostly emotionally.
At work we had to roll out a new program, and overnight shifts and no sleep were the cause and effect of it.
Welcome the Scene+ program to FreshCo!
Now customers can collect points and redeem them for gift cards or money off of their grocery bill! With today's economy, this is a great saver!
It was just a pain in the y'know what to get ready for.
I also had my FreshCoversary!
Been working there 6 years.
On the 6th, my best friend had a stroke.
It was a blockage stroke. He seems to be fine now and is back home, but where did the blockage go?! It is medication and therapy to try to get him straight.
Please keep him in your prayers though, I feel like he still needs them.
Sometimes I feel like life is a movie....
Someone I know was murdered.
In a big city these things happen, you just never think they will happen anywhere around you. Until it does, then you don't know how to deal....
R.I.P. Danielle. You will definitely be missed.
My sister has to go to court because people had a shoot-out in front of her home.
They riddled her car with bullet holes. No one was injured, thankfully.
My sister has PTSD and is afraid to live in her home now. She is already looking at places to rent. She was home alone when it happened. It was not targeted at her, just her car was hurt and it was on her camera. So now she is involved.
This movie-feeling life continues....
Two of my regular customers at work have passed away. Just seems like such a somber season this year....
I tried to participate in my own Nonfiction November, but with all of the events that happened, some of which I haven't mentioned, I just hit a depression and wasn't reading like I normally do. I'm bipolar, but the winter blues had set in already. Then you get life and stress.... GAWD.
I did meet my Goodreads goal of 50 books this year so whoop, whoop!!
Our granddaughter turned 4 on the 26th!
My great niece, Serenity, was admitted to the McMaster Children's hospital on the 29th. She is not eating or drinking and needed to be put on oxygen. They say she has pneumonia, but have tested her for other things like RSV. Please keep her in your prayers. She is only 2 years old and needs to get better.
