November Monthly News

Welcome to the November edition of monthly news! A rough month for me. Mostly emotionally. At work we had to roll out a new program, and overnight shifts and no sleep were the cause and effect of it. Welcome the Scene+ program to FreshCo ! Now customers can collect points and redeem them for gift cards or money off of their grocery bill! With today's economy, this is a great saver! It was just a pain in the y'know what to get ready for. I also had my FreshCoversary! Been working there 6 years. On the 6th, my best friend had a stroke. It was a blockage stroke. He seems to be fine now and is back home, but where did the blockage go?! It is medication and therapy to try to get him straight. Please keep him in your prayers though, I feel like he still needs them. Sometimes I feel like life is a movie.... Someone I know was murdered. In a big city these things happen, you just never think they will happen anywhere around you. Until it does, then you don't know how to deal.... R.

Verity - Colleen Hoover (51)

ASIN: ‎  B09H6T8LTR Publisher: ‎  Grand Central Publishing (October 5, 2021) Kindle: ‎  1804 KB Print: ‎  333 pages AMAZON Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. What Lowen doesn’t expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of the night her family was forever altered.   Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents could devastate the already grieving father. But as Lowen’s feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, sh

Against All Odds - Chuck Norris (50)

Publisher: ‎  B & H Pub Group (January 1, 2004) Hardcover: ‎  276 pages ISBN: ‎  978-0805431612 AMAZON In this autobiography, Norris and Abraham catalogue in a mostly chronological fashion the major events of Norris's Horatio Alger–like life. After a tumultuous and impoverished childhood marred by an alcoholic father, Norris turned his life around by joining the military and learning a martial art, tang soo do, while stationed in Korea. Having achieved a black belt, he returned to the United States and built a career as a karate instructor, winning six world championships.
