September Monthly News

Welcome to the September edition of monthly news!

We were lucky enough to go to the Exhibition, (CNE), this year. My daughter, the hubby and myself took in all it had to offer us with rides, exhibits, crafts, food and more! I got the cutest necklace, and the hubby won me a stuffy that I gave to the dogs when I got home. We all win!
My son wasn't there, but he just lives so far away from us.
He was missed though!
It was a dreary day with threats of wet, but thankfully no rain came.
All-in-all it was a great day!!

Labor Day my auntie and I went to the Labor Day Classic to watch our favorite CFL football team, the Hamilton Tiger Cats take on Toronto Argonauts.
We lost but so what?! Sometimes it's about the company and the memories!

My Instagram account that I built for years was hacked recently. If you received bogus messages by me regarding bitcoin, rest assured it was not me.
Any one who can report @fredasphotos would be appreciated. The sooner I can get my memories away from the hacker and the account closed, the better.
Of course Instagram itself was no help and even sending a 360 view of my face wasn't enough to prove my identity.... SMH.
Head to my new IG account. Help me rebuild!

The hubby and I made our way to Kerrfest in Oakville, Ontario to see The Trews!
They hail from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, but now reside in my city.
The bass player, Jack, is actually a regular customer of mine.
It was a great set, they played for 2 hours!!!
At one point, the guitar player, John, came into the crowd and walked right in front of me while playing the song. Of course I went stupid and forgot to grab my phone for a pic, I was just in awe that I could smell his cologne as he passed me.
It was a helluva night!!!

The next night, we were supposed to go back to the festival for Teenage Head and 54-40, but I was in the hospital for a throat and gland infection and wasn't feeling up to more screaming with a score throat. Sad, but I've seen them perform 4-5 times so all was not lost. Next time, for sure I'm going!

Are you a big festival or music show person like me??
What is the best band you have seen live?

I love going to concerts! We took my 9 year old to his first concert this past week! We saw Ice Nine Kills, Crown the Empire, and Slipknot. He loved it.
I hope you're feeling better and I hope October is a good one!

Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although
