Welcome to the August edition of monthly news!
August 2nd was my 13th Blogoversary!
I didn't celebrate though, I'm not feeling very celebratory when it comes to my blog lately. I haven't put into it what I used to and I wonder if some of you are still out there..... I try to review and share as much as I can, but life gets in the way.
Maybe next year will be more fun.
I may have pandemic blues too......
Another family celebration was had.
This time it was one of my twin sister's celebrating her birthday.
Her wombmate was working, hence the solo party.

It was a great time, as always.
My baby girl turned 25 on August 20th!
We went to Toronto to visit with her the day before. We had drinks and met some of her friends. We hung out in a park that overlooked the city.... so beautiful. Check it out....
Riverdale Park is so pretty, especially at night.
Then we did Ribfest!
OMG the heat and sun was ferocious!!
We grabbed our ribs, beans and slaw and booked it home to the A/C.
It was still good eats and good times listening to a Tragically Hip tribute band whilst there!
If you were there, I was the only one dancing so you would've definitely seen me! 😊
We have so much more fun scheduled for September so check back!

Seems like a good month with a lot of socialising. We need this after the pandemic (even if it still lingers around). Don't worry about not putting too much attention to your blog. It will come back, and you are not alone. I have been rather slow myself lately. Your blogging friends are there when you need them. I have heard a lot of good about Joy Fielding so have to put her on my list.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the encouragement!
DeleteWow, happy 13th blogoversary! I just had my 11th. It's amazing how fast the years go by. My son will turn 24 in February, and once again, those years just speed by so fast!
ReplyDeleteThank you, and happy Blogoversary to you also!
DeleteIt's crazy, one minute their small and need you for everything, then you wake up one day and a man stands in front of you so independent. It is a bittersweet feeling for sure. (((HUGS)))
