A: I do. I also drink juice, wine, water or whatever suits my fancy at the time. If it's a case of either or... I prefer coffee.

    I haven't read anything by this author, but I have heard a lot about his other novels (particularly Night of the Mannequins). That opening has a lot going on. Enjoy your current read!

    The 56 snippets definitely had some humor to them, but that opening hints at some more serious parts to the book. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

    I really like the opening first line. Imagine what a problem it would be to have prairie dogs digging in your back yard.

    Sounds like an intense story, although the prairie dogs are funny! I finally remembered what day of the week it is and posted Book Beginnings!
