Feels like this month slowed down. I read more any way.
And then the month was over. I guess it wasn't so slow after all.
Mother's Day came and went.
I didn't get to see my kids, too far away and have busy lives.
We ate Indian food, but otherwise it was just another day.
Then the next day, May 9th, my last grandparent, my grandmother, passed away in her sleep.
RIP Grandma Speakman.
Let's get onto June already!

So very sorry about your grandmother. Both of mine, and my maternal grandfather passed away before I was born.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see my oldest son or my daughter on Mother's Day, but I spent the day with my youngest son.
I LOVE Indian food! Sadly my favorite restaurant closed.
Thank you.
DeleteThis pandemic took a ton of great restaurants out. A few of my haunts went during this time.
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope your memories of her can help you through your grief. Other than her passing, it looks like you had a very productive reading month. I hope June is a good month too. :)
