May Monthly News

Welcome to the May edition of monthly news!

Feels like this month slowed down. I read more any way.
And then the month was over. I guess it wasn't so slow after all.

Mother's Day came and went.
I didn't get to see my kids, too far away and have busy lives.
We ate Indian food, but otherwise it was just another day.

Then the next day, May 9th, my last grandparent, my grandmother, passed away in her sleep.
RIP Grandma Speakman.

Let's get onto June already!

  1. So very sorry about your grandmother. Both of mine, and my maternal grandfather passed away before I was born.

I didn't see my oldest son or my daughter on Mother's Day, but I spent the day with my youngest son.

I LOVE Indian food! Sadly my favorite restaurant closed.

    1. Thank you.

This pandemic took a ton of great restaurants out. A few of my haunts went during this time.

REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although
