Q: What inspired you to start book blogging?
A: I remember doing book reports as a kid in school. It was a way to share your feelings after reading, usually a pretty heavy read like Of Mice And Men. I was reading non-stop all day, not watching a lick of tv, and averaging 200 books a year. I thought to those book report days and it had me wanting to share my thoughts on books again. I didn't even really know what blogging was. I actually went online doing a Google search for journaling. That's when blogging came up. I decided to give it a try and haven't looked back since. Honestly, it has forwarded me some opportunities that I never would have had. I've met a great community of people that also love books. It's just made me a better person and helped me to grow. I'm on my 12th blogoversary this August, so I feel like something is going right.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun book with a fun narrator.
ReplyDeleteOoh this sounds like a fun read! Keke Palmer is delightful, so I'm not surprised that jumps off the page here as well. I do also remember book reports and how nervous I was about sharing my opinion, in case it was "wrong", and blogging was a beautiful way for me to grow into my opinion and express it more confidently! Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a lovely weekend :)
