March Monthly News

Welcome to the March edition of monthly news!

So in my last monthly news I spoke of winning tickets to see Foo Fighters new movie, Studio 666. It was awesome, by the way!
Well, little did I know that I also won 2 tickets to see them in Toronto in July! WOOHOO!!!!
I also got a copy of their latest CD too! So very cool!

UNTIL...

March 25th, 2022, Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters passed away at 50 yrs old.
Being a HUGE fan, I am devastated to hear this news.
And my concert going dream is crushed.
😭
RIP πŸ€˜πŸ₯

So it looks like reading was not for me this past month, and it was slower, but I actually read books that are touring the blog at a later date.

I also went to the Spring Tide Bulb Show at Gage Park. It's a show of flowers to see which varieties they will garden this Spring. Tulips, daffodils and more! Check out my photoblog;

March 30th, my dad who is passed, and my son share a birthday.
My son turned 27. (Jesus take the wheel....)
He wanted a chicken and rice dinner, so that's what he got. 😊
It was a great day and now I also feel significantly older.

So what has happened in your world?

  1. So sorry your dream of going to see the Foo Fighters has been crushed. It's so sad about Taylor Hawkins.

How great that your son shares a birthday with your dad. I know it's probably bittersweet since your dad has passed away.

    Happy April. :)

  2. Oh man that is rough about him passing and you not being able to go to the concert, I just saw my favorite band in concert a couple days ago and if any of them unlived I'd probably cry hard I'm not going to lie.
I just got an Alex Finlay book and I'm pretty excited to read it. I just turned 29 in March as well, happy late birthday to your son!

Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although
