July Monthly News

Welcome to the July Monthly News!

The hubby and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on the 5th. We got The Keg for takeaway. It was so good. We didn't want to sit on the patio with 40C heat so we just took it home. Then we went for a drive in the evening and got some ice cream on the way home. We actually forgot we had a Red Velvet cake, a small dedication to our wedding cake, that we were supposed to enjoy together. It still got eaten, just not on the day of. 😊

We've opened up quite a bit from lockdown, so there is more options for things to do. Visiting family and friends became a priority. It's been too long since seeing most of them. We had many celebrations this month between all of the birthdays and anniversaries. Great reasons to celebrate!

We had another birth in our family! My great-nephew, James, was born on July 23rd. 9lbs 6 ozs!! We don't have small babies in this family! This is the third COVID baby my family has had. I think they need to find another hobby.  😄

I also visited The Keg Mansion in Toronto with a few of my siblings. You can check out the IG post that has a bunch of photos. It's supposed to be haunted, but we felt no energy or got spooked. They don't let you go the third floor or the basement where it said to have lots of paranormal activity. Would've been cool to get the pants scared off me though!

Have you ever experienced anything paranormal?

  1. Congrats on the arrival of James! New babies in the family are always so exciting. We're a big baby family too. My nephew was also 9lb 6oz and his poor mum is a tiny 4'11/UK size 8! Nice to hear you recommend Love and Gelato - I've been seeing that one around a bit recently.
