That looks like a great memoir--she's so charismatic and enigmatic!
ReplyDeleteThis looks to be a good one. I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOooh 'Face It' sounds amazing! I'm in awe of Debbie Harry so I'd definitely be down to read this! I personally love the Classics Challenge but that's because the genre (or maybe more the category?) does work for me. No need to suffer through books if you're not going to enjoy them :) Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a lovely weekend!

I have a copy of this book - just haven't read it yet! I must do so.
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest and admit that I have no idea who Debbie Harry is....
ReplyDeleteI do have an active Classics Club challenge. Love reading the Classics and modern lit. There are some great books listed as Classics that aren't that old too.
Have a good weekend Freda!

I'm gonna pretend I didn't read that... LOL... Go to Youtube and listen to Blondie, Heart of Glass. Great song, you may find you have heard it after all. They were a HUGE band once, known all over the world.
DeleteThe cover of Face It is terrific!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the Classics Club Challenge now. I'm working my way through my first list of 50. I like it. But I find myself reading more classic books that aren't on the list I created. I need to focus on the list so I can finish it by my target date of the end of 2023.
Good luck with the challenge!
DeleteFace It looks really good! I bet there are some great stories in it!
ReplyDeleteThere is some shockers in it!
DeleteThank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi there! You know I keep joining in and forgetting to add my link and go to visit everyone! So I remembered today although late! Thought I'd pop by anyway! lol _Glad I did! I am a huge Blondie fan, and her lookalike is currently touring the UK as we speak! I must get this! Here is my Friday56, although very late, just in case you're still playing!
ReplyDeleteI wish my reader was better. It should have shown me your post to visit. Darn you, Bloglovin!! :-)
DeleteOff to visit now!
Sorry I sneezed. I once read The Perfect Storm and was horrified by how scary it would be to be out on a boat in a storm. A cold one at that. My Friday quotes and review
DeleteI am currently updating my Goodreads account to add links to my reviews kind of as a cross-reference for myself. I don't participate in book tours and I can usually hold the few deadlines for challenges in my head.
