RATED PG

1 HOUR 58 MINUTES

Five years after the Civil War, Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd (Academy Award winner Tom Hanks) moves from town to town as a non-fiction storyteller, sharing the news from the far reaches of the globe. In the plains of Texas, he crosses paths with a 10-year-old girl taken in by the Kiowa people and raised as one of their own. Kidd agrees to deliver the child where the law says she belongs. As they travel hundreds of miles into the unforgiving wilderness, the two face tremendous challenges of both human and natural forces as they search for a place they can call home.

REVIEW:
Tom hanks could act out the phone book and I would want to watch it, so I was excited to watch this new film of his. Then I realized that it was a Western, which I'm not a fan of, but watched anyway.
It wasn't like any other Western I've ever seen before. The story was completely different. It, and this fair-haired child, pulled me right in.
It had me laughing, angry, and even crying. It took me everywhere emotionally!!
Such a fantastic film it was!
From that cool story, to the phenomenal actors, to the great set and scenery, it really had it all!
My favorite film of the year to date! Make sure you watch it!!

  1. Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors. I loved him in Forrest Gump. Haven't seen this movie yet.

REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although
