This the third book in the Anne of Green Gable Series. Anne Shirley heads off to Redmond College and the busy city of Kingsport. Is the big city ready for the high, spirited country girl? I doubt things will ever be the same.
This is the first book in the classic series by Lucy Maud Montgomery which has continued to delight young girls for generations. You’ll enjoy following the continued misadventures of Anne as she continues to win over everyone she meets.

Lucy Maud Montgomery (1874-1942), was a Canadian author best known for a series of novels beginning in 1908 with Anne of Green Gables. The book was an immediate success and the central character, Anne, an orphaned girl, made Montgomery famous in her lifetime and gave her an international following. The first novel was followed by a series of sequels with Anne as the central character.

My review for Anne of Green Gables
My review for Anne of Avonlea

REVIEW:
Each Anne Shirley story is better than the last! You see growth, you root for her with her schooling, and you so want her to decide on Gilbert!
This story always makes me smile, and this is probably the tenth time I've read it. Anne really finds herself in this book. All of her friends are settling down, and in that time it was naturally expected at a certain age. She was of that age and eyes were on her to find someone.
The ending is my favorite part. I am a sucker for sappy love!
Since I have not read further on in the series, I look forward to reading the next book sometime soon!

REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although
