I love this excerpt, obviously things are going to evolve, lol. Mine is from a fascinating mix of historical novel and fantasy in the Paris world of painters! See entry 16, France Book Tours

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I've heard of this book.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your romantic Friday 56 excerpts, that opening doesn't quite fit. LOL I actually quite like it though. I think this sounds like a great read. I hope you are enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great weekend!
I read a book by Jennifer Smith a few years back and though I liked it I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. How does this one fair? My book this week is titled Kent State
ReplyDeleteHonestly, not far enough along to say. It seems like the makings of a 'sweet' read though, which I tend to like sometimes. :-)
DeleteGreat opening and I liked page 56 as well.
