Welcome to the January edition of the monthly news!
First of all, Happy New Year!!
My word for the year is HOPE.
With 2020 in the rearview mirror, I can say that I hope this year is better than last. I hope I don't lose anymore loved ones. I hope my friends, family and community can be safe. I hope the world can unite to combat the virus.
We're off to a great start with the presidency changing hands. As a Canadian watching from the sidelines, I am hopeful for a better relationship between our countries. I mean, we still gotta share this continent after all. Let's make the best of it!

I think HOPE is a very good word for 2021. We really need this after last year's difficult times. I think people have more hope for this year.
ReplyDeleteHappy you are on your reading goals. My year started very well with 12 books for January. I fulfilled my challenges as well so very pleased.
I am in Austria for the time being and here is a lockdown as well. Hopefully, they will open parts of society on Monday 8 February. Mostly we shop for food and take walks.
Wish you a good reading year and a hopeful 2021.
Thank you, and all of the best to you as well!
