Q: If you go trick-or-treating with your favorite book character, who would it be?
A: Hands down, Harry Potter. You need a little magic on your side and he is good at it!

**This is a weekly meme post.

  1. I haven't read anything by this author, but I have heard of some of his other novels. This one seems interesting. Enjoy your current read!

  4. It's been a long time since I read a Nicholas Sparks book but I enjoyed the ones I read. This sounds good too. Have a great weekend!

  5. It' been a while since I've read one of his novels, but you can count on Nicholas Sparks to bring a warm, fuzzy feeling.

  6. I think I've only read one Sparks book--The Notebook--but I don't know why I haven't read more, I liked it well enough.

    Happy weekend!

  7. How does this book compared to his others. I don't even remember hearing about this one. My Friday Post

    1. I honestly cannot compare them. I find each to be a new and fresh romance with a twist. This one has a vet helping a teen girl. This book has just come out in September, I believe.

  8. I haven't read a book from Nicholas Sparks in years! Thanks for sharing and enjoy your week :)

  9. Harry Potter is a good choice! I wouldn't mind being in his company this time of year either. The Sparks' book sounds good. I have only read one of his books--and that was years ago. I really enjoyed it. It sure brought out the tears! I hope you have a great weekend.

REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although

Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see. It doesn't take long to get light though. Thankfully. Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too. Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would
