Q: What book or books are you going to read on Labor Day weekend?
A: I am reading a book online called, Tweak. It's a memoir that's got a movie based on it, Beautiful Boy. Also starting, Apprentice In Death. It's time I read a J.D. Robb book and see what the hoopla is about.
I timely book to read! I've seen it a lot on social media. It sounds interesting, but I'm trying to ignore all things that remind me of the election and current events. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat book!
ReplyDeleteI want to read this Trump book. But not sure if I could handle it. I hate the guy. Tweak is well-written. Disturbing, tough.
ReplyDeleteThis book is definitely making the rounds since it's release. How are you finding it? I like the narrative voice of the author in the prologue. I imagine it is an interesting and insightful read.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Apprentice in Death. The first time I read a J.D. Robb book (Naked in Death), I didn't like it much. But then I tried it in audio several years later and liked it much better. I've only listened to the first couple of books, but eventually I hope to get to the others. Maybe. There's a lot of them. LOL
I hope you have a great weekend, Freda. Take care.
I definitely have a better understanding of Trump now...
DeleteThis is definitely a book I wanted to read. I have it on hold at my library. There are a lot of people who wanted to read this.
ReplyDeleteI just finished that one yesterday. What an experience!
ReplyDeleteI have this one on audio. I'm looking forward to listening to it. I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI downloaded a sample - a fascinating book!
