July Monthly News

Welcome to the July edition of the monthly news!
COVID. Fear will be with some of us for a while, I think. At least, I hope enough to keep it in people's minds before we start heading back to what life was like before COVID. I've gone for a few drives with the hubby, and am always shocked at how many people don't keep with the social distancing rules, or wear a mask. Seen many in big groups. It baffles me how easily we forget. Until it's one of our own that gets sick...
On a better note, hubby and I celebrated our anniversary very low key.

We didn't want to venture into patio land with every one else, so we got The Keg for takeaway. We wanted to go back to where we got married, The Ancaster Old Mill. Sadly, they don't reopen the patio till July 10th, after our special day. I might have taken a chance at COVID for their patio... can't lie, I love them that much. 🤷 Even with the Stage 3 reopening, and allowances to dine-in, I'd still rather eat on the patio. Although we didn't chance it afterall. Not this month any way.
What is your favorite restauarant to celebrate in?
My reading slacked off significantly. I just wanted to do other things. There really is no other reason.
