  • Share your “gratties” with your family - this is a list of 3-5 things that you are thankful for.  I’m grateful for my husband, feeling healthy today, my chubby orange cat Chucky, telling stories for a living, the beautiful spring happening all around us in spite of a crazy time in history.
    1. Watch funny shows! From live to streaming, there are so many options right now.  My faves are Schitt’s Creek, Grace and Frankie and Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
    2. Listen to funny, thoughtful or inspiring podcasts.  I recommend Two Dope Queens and My Dad Wrote a Porno for some good laughs!
    3. Listen to AUDIOBOOKS!!  I am listening to Silver Screen Fiend by Patton Oswalt right now and I also recommend Born Standing Up by Steve Martin and The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish.
    4. Storytime is a favorite of mine and now we have time to read to each other. I’ve been doing a weekly LIVE storytime on FB and IG for harried parents during the quarantine. (See past stories on YOUTUBE).
    5. Share your childhood adventures with your children.  One of my favorites is when my siblings (I’m one of eight kids, four girls and four boys!!) would put on plays for my parents.  We always had enough people and it was so much fun. Cinderella became a musical with Songs, dances, costumes, makeup, scenery and rehearsal for an hour before we performed for my Mom and Dad.
