There was a time when the woods near Duva ate girls…or so the story goes. But it's just possible that the danger may be a little bit closer to home. This story is a companion folk tale to Leigh Bardugo's debut novel, Shadow and Bone.
About the Author
Leigh Bardugo was born in Jerusalem, grew up in Los Angeles, and graduated from Yale University. These days, she hides out in Hollywood, where she indulges her fondness for glamour, ghouls, and costuming in her other life as a makeup artist. Her first book, Shadow and Bone, was a New York Times bestseller.
REVIEW:
Nadia is one interesting character!
I really need a copy of Shadow & Bone now so I can keep up with Nadia and what is to come.
This little story gives us an intro into Nadia's world. It's over so fast though that you are left wanting more!
Was also my intro into this author that I have heard so much about. I can see by her style of writing why she is so popular. She knows how to suck a reader in!
4/5
