Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran is a man with a lot on his mind. The former labor union high official and hitman, learned to kill serving in Italy during the Second World War. He now looks back on his life and the hits that defined his mob career, maintaining connections with the Bufalino crime family. In particular, the part he claims to have played in the disappearance of his life-long friend, Jimmy Hoffa, the former president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, who mysteriously vanished in late July 1975 at the age of 62.
Starring Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Ray Romano.



REVIEW:
What a long film.
Did I enjoy it? For the most part, yes.
There was a great story within a story, and the most incredible thespians on the planet brought it to life. Maybe the cast is my favorite part...
I had no idea this was based on a book until the very end.  I wonder if it's a big one.
I liked the bits with Jimmy Hoffa. Really makes you wonder, since you know his body was never found. Never mind cement shoes, wood chippers were a thing too.
Interesting, to say the least.
Sadly, I don't think everyone will find this to be the Oscar winner it was.

    I watched about half of this movie but still haven't gotten back to finishing it yet. It is interesting with a great cast of characters.
