#Win Us (US/CDN)

AVAILABLE NOW! Rated R 117 minutes AMAZON From Academy Award-winning visionary Jordan Peele comes another original nightmare. Starring Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o (12 Years a Slave) and Winston Duke (Black Panther), an endearing American family is pitted against a terrifying and uncanny opponent: doppelgängers of themselves. REVIEW: Started out really weird, and not the good weird, just the weird you don't understand. Love the carnival bit though... eerie. Took about 40 minutes to get to the good stuff, the horror part of the film. It picked up speed pretty fast after that. I found myself getting jumpy. It's unrealistic, but that's what heightens the fear. Great actors, even the children. It is hard to make weird make sense, but they somehow did. Believably at that. In the end, even I wanted all the doppelgangers dead. I don't get the bunnies, never will I expect, but that's ok. It's the only part of the movie that is ir

Captain Marvel

AVAILABLE NOW! Rated PG 123 minutes AMAZON After crashing an experimental aircraft, Air Force pilot Carol Danvers is discovered by the Kree and trained as a member of the elite Starforce Military under the command of her mentor Yon-Rogg. Six years later, after escaping to Earth while under attack by the Skrulls, Danvers begins to discover there's more to her past. With help from S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury, they set out to unravel the truth. REVIEW: Great graphics, great soundtrack and great action scenes. I didn't care for the alien and their way too human vocabulary. I felt like he was too Earth for a being who came from out of this world. The alien dude did have jokes though, which kind of made up for the shoddy acting. This story of Carol, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, is of how she came to have powers and her life. If you like bad guys, Jude Law is always an epic villain. Sadly though, if you're watching for a story line, you will be
