May Monthly News

Welcome to the May  edition of the monthly news! Mother's Day came and went. I heard from both of my children but did not see them. Living in different cities sucks sometimes, but that's the life when you have adult children. It was also my dead brother's birthday, so I was bittersweet and emotional day. A coworker gave me a carnation and a hug, which made me cry. Yup, menopause has made me a mess. Victoria Day weekend was better. Had festivities at my favorite uncle and aunt's. Smoked Turkey.... so good!!  What fun things did you do? BOOKS: I'll Never Tell by Catherine McKenzie Rooms by Lauren Oliver The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket (recommend) Shadows by Jennifer L. As a Luxen, an alien life-form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane. Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable. Bethany can't deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren't a complication she wants, she can't stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she's drawn in. Captivated. Lured. Loved. Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence…and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can't stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself. # 1 NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling author Jennifer L.
