Michael 'Storm Boy' Kingley (Geoffrey Rush) has grown up to be a successful retired businessman and grandfather. When Kingley starts to see images from his past that he can't explain, he is forced to remember his long-forgotten childhood, growing up on an isolated coastline with his father (Jai Courtney). He recounts to his granddaughter the story of how, as a boy (Finn Little), he rescued and raised an extraordinary orphaned pelican, Mr.Percival. Their remarkable adventures and very special bond has a profound effect on all their lives. Based on the beloved book, Storm Boy is a timeless story of an unusual and unconditional friendship.

REVIEW: What an amazing movie! This one has the same effect on me as watching Old Yeller did. You went on this incredible journey with this boy and his pelicans. These pelicans would have otherwise died.  Frankly, there is a few movies or stories out there that fit this theme. Homeward Bound is another …

My review for The Librarian: Little Boy Lost

REVIEW: Ok, so not as good as the first book, but it was still good.
As a book lover, it is a unique perspective to go inside a classic story like The Wizard of Oz or Peter…

Except Eli is having a personal crisis and beginning to doubt the longevity of his chosen career. And Hermann might have a better offer.

REVIEW:
I have come to the conclusion that I am not a western fan.
I tried so hard to enjoy this film. It had so many elements that I usually love like plenty of killing action and fighting scenes.
Still, it lacked for me.
It had a brilliant cast of actors, Joaquin Phoenix and Jake Gyllenhaal were what attracted me to it in the first place. They just were not enough.
As an avid reader, I am surprised I am not familiar with the book or author. I will have to check them out and quite possibly that will be the way for me to enjoy the story.
