December Monthly News

Welcome to the December edition of monthly news!
I cannot believe the end of the year is already here!! Time sure does start moving at a faster pace the older you get.
My 42nd birthday came and went. It was a time of fun and reflection.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and I wish you the best for this new year!
I made my reading goal of 50 books too! It's a good feeling to meet a personal goal. Did you have any personal goals that you met? Will you have any for next year?
Oddly enough, my favorite book of the year is one I have read many times. Some books will always be great reads, and my pick is one of them.
2019 will be a year of knowing my own worth and evaluating relationships. You have to ask yourself what is most important, and categorize your priorities accordingly. Over 40, you start to really think of these things more. Your bullshit-o-meter is sensitive as you age, and with that comes wisdom. I look forward to being much happier next year!
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year!

But when her abusive ex suddenly dies, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel while she desperately tries to prove she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.  REVIEW: I sorta hated the beginning. Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see. It doesn't take long to get light though. Thankfully. Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too. Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would

#Win 1917 (US/CDN)

AVAILABLE MARCH 24! RATED R 119 minutes AMAZON April 1917, the Western Front. Two British soldiers are sent to deliver an urgent message to an isolated regiment. If the message is not received in time the regiment will walk into a trap and be massacred. To get to the regiment they will need to cross through enemy territory. Time is of the essence and the journey will be fraught with danger. Starring Colin Firth. REVIEW: So it wasn't the best war movie I've ever seen, but it was still good. The cinematography is amazing! So rich and with so much detail. The story is just okay though. Two soliders sent to stop the front lines from walking into a trap. Not that interesting and often predictable. A few yelling at the screen moments happened, not gonna lie. How it was all brought together, mixed with a tug on the emotional heart strings is what is makes it good. Watched it with the hubby. He was engaged throughout, so that was good. He's n
