August Monthly News

Welcome to the August edition of monthly news!
We celebrated 9 years of blogging in August! It feels like it has flown on by! I appreciate all of you for sticking with me through the years!
I had an aunt pass away from complications with her diabetes. She was an aunt through marriage, but it still hurts all the same. Also makes me think about my own diabetes, and that I need to keep taking care of myself.
Enough sad stuff. Summer is almost over, oh wait, that's more sad stuff! I realized I did nothing noteworthy this summer. Did any of you have anything exciting to talk about? Fill me in! Let me live vicariously through you! 😁

  1. I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope you've been enjoying HP as much as I've been enjoying seeing you share excerpts of the books every Friday. Hope you have a good September.

  3. My condolences on the loss of your aunt. I know with me, I put more care and attention into the health of my pets and kids than myself! We definitely need to be better about taking care of ourselves to stay healthy.

I still need to finish Harry Potter series. I was reading the series aloud to my kids, and Goblet of Fire was taking forever to get through and we stopped in the middle of it. Maybe now that they are older it will be better!

Our heroes pull out all the stops to try and win the tournament, break the witch's hold on King Arthur, and find a way back to the present in this legendary story of Scooby Doo in King Arthur's Court. REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although

As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel while she desperately tries to prove she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.  REVIEW: I sorta hated the beginning. Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see. It doesn't take long to get light though. Thankfully. Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too. Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would
