Award-winning actress Frances McDormand (Fargo) delivers a stunningly powerful performance in this darkly comic drama that has been hailed as one of the year’s best films. A murdered girl’s defiant mother (McDormand) boldly paints three local signs with a controversial message, igniting a furious battle with a volatile cop (Sam Rockwell) and the town’s revered chief of police (Woody Harrelson).

REVIEW:
Frances McDormand, you're my spirit animal.
Seeing her in this movie, playing this fiercely-loving mother, I am so in awe! She was epic! Her role in this movie was epic! The emotions it stirred in me as a mother was epic! I can totally see why this is an award-winning film.
If you're a parent, ask yourself what you would do if someone harmed one of your kids. Now ask yourself if you would ever give up on getting justice for those crimes against your child?
Now watch the film. You will think you won't like this movie one bit. You will be wrong. I guarantee it.
You will be pulled in, and you will think this is a fan-fucking-tastic film when it's all over. I know both the hubby and myself did. I also think it's one of my favorites now. I can't wait to tell my friends and family about it.

REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although
