I am a huge punk music fan.
A while back I bought Johnny Rotten's book, he's from The Sex Pistols, and am now getting around to it.
Do you like punk? Who is your favorite, if you do?

Interesting excerpts!
ReplyDeleteHe's writing about a rollicking time. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe story about styling the hair in the stove . . . I don't know whether to laugh or be appalled. LOL That's crazy. This sounds like a funny book. I hope you are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteI love all these snippets you've shared. Looks like a very interesting read. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people go instantly to anger, not as part of humor but just their frame of mind is always angry. Pity.
ReplyDeleteI really like the opening line just because it is an interesting one-liner. Enjoy your current read!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I have several I STILL go to watch these days and they're all looking very old, if they're even alive lol You might have heard of them, but they're local to me - like 999, Stiff Little Fingers.... The Damned...And yes, I love the Sex Pistols, and wonder if he mentioned in his book why he 'sold out' and started making Country Life Butter adverts!!? Does he? :D Pls can you let me know on my blog, as i sometimes miss your answers here... :D thank you . x
ReplyDeleteI love that opening line! It is quite profound, actually. I hope that you continue to enjoy this one. :)
ReplyDeleteI love all kinds of music, just some more than others. :-)

I used to like it. Kind of got away from listening to it now. I watched an interview with Sid. He is so charismatic. Have a lovely weekend, Freda:)
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a punk fan but this sounds fascinating! I'm sure his insights are interesting even if you're not a big punk fan.
ReplyDeleteIt's not really my sort of music, but I hope you enjoy the book.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of punk, but I do love rock music. It's different, right? haha. :)
