Protecting someone always comes at a cost.
At the age of thirteen, Charlie Quinn’s childhood came to an abrupt and devastating end. Two men, with a grudge against her lawyer father, broke into her home—and after that shocking night, Charlie’s world was never the same.
Now a lawyer herself, Charlie has made it her mission to defend those with no one else to turn to. So when Flora Faulkner, a motherless teen, begs for help, Charlie is reminded of her own past, and is powerless to say no.
But honor-student Flora is in far deeper trouble than Charlie could ever have anticipated. Soon she must ask herself: How far should she go to protect her client? And can she truly believe everything she is being told?
Razor-sharp and lightning-fast, this electrifying story from the #1 international bestselling author will leave you breathless.

REVIEW:
Can't wait to read The Good Daughter now!
Where the book left off, I'm hoping the next one picks up at. It was a book I kept reading through to the end in one sitting. The flow was just easy.  The story surrounding Flora is pretty intense. The twists and turns the plot takes are not what you expect at all, but it becomes such a good thing. You really wanna slap the shit out of Flora by the end of it. at least I did.
So onto the next book now!

Gabrielle Union stars as a woman who will stop at nothing to rescue her two children being held hostage in a house designed with impenetrable security. No trap, no trick and especially no man inside can match a mother with a mission when she is determined on Breaking In. Producers Will Packer (No Good Deed, Obsessed) and Union (Almost Christmas, Being Mary Jane) reunite for this original thriller directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Sense8).

REVIEW: So much better than I anticipated. One fierce, strong and smart mom comes to the rescue of her whole family. These guys who took her kids, don't stand a chance. She's not a MMA fighter or anything, but she is smart and resourceful. I was so in tune with the film, and as a mom, I was on the edge-of-my-set waiting for her to give them what they deserved. No one should take a womans' kids.  Men and women will both love this movie, so  maybe a date nigh…
