Great excerpts! I'm curious about this series.
ReplyDeleteI've only read the first book in this series, but I really enjoyed it. Hope you have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything by Ransom Riggs, but I've heard a lot of good things about his books.
ReplyDeleteI really need to read the rest of this series.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice this week. I'm almost finished with the first book and having fun. I'll be grabbing the rest of the books too. And I want to see the movie. Have a lovely weekend, Freda!
ReplyDeleteI totally want to read this one. I've had it on my list forever and actually got the hold from the public library. I never did get it started though because I was reading other things. I'm hoping to get to it soon. Great post!!
ReplyDeleteI have seen these books EVERYWHERE this week, Frida! How, I'm going to have to read them myself! :O)
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday 56 post!
I haven't read the first one in this series yet. I had a copy but donated it to my HS media center during one of my shelf purges because it had been sitting unread for so long. It sounds intriguing. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, stories like this unnerve me. My brother wanted to see the movie of the first one, and I just couldn't do it. LOL Got to love me. I'd love for you an your readers to check out mine . . . http://tinyurl.com/LisaKsBookReviewsDOFBK
ReplyDeleteMan, they really know how to make covers.
ReplyDeleteI am on the list for the first book with Library to Go. I have wondered about the series so decided to give it a try. Don't know when I will get it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence! My Friday 56 is Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children! I am loving it, so I'm sure I'll be reading this one in the future! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a powerful book beginning. The movie wasn't really on my radar, maybe I'll have to try the books.
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes - I'm excited to (hopefully) read this series soon!
