October Monthly News

Welcome to the October edition of monthly news!
My life is chaotic at the moment.
No kids at home, and my mom has moved out.
Empty-nesting is my life, and so is downsizing.
Yup. Trying to find a place nowadays is harder than it used to be. It's either not what we like, too overpriced, or just in the worst place of the city.
The housing market sky-rocketed and mixed with rising hydro rates... I wanna scream!
But I digress. This is life. Welcome to adulting.
So, you may see less in the next couple of months. I will still be here, but with moving and working outside the home now, it will be a little less. Maybe.
Tell me what has happened in your world lately...
Happy Halloween, everyone!

  1. My son Anthony and I are downsizing. We're going from a 2200+ sq. ft. to a house that is a little over 700 sq. ft. I hope your move isn't very stressful.

  9. Adulting can suck, but fingers crossed everything goes smoothly for you! I loved The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel movie, but didn't realise it was a book. Glad to hear you recommend reading it!

  12. At first I was all--kids AND mom moving out? Sounds like relaxation, not stress! But then I realized it entails moving, and that is always a headache for sure. It's a good things books are a great escape!

REVIEW:
Such great animation!
There was always something going on in this movie. Even though it was a story I have seen played out a million times and a million different ways, they all are different too. This had more of a story. It was very magical and is definitely fun for the whole family.
Want to point out, Max, the dog, stole the show for me. He is so adorable, even if animation. Such a good dog.
This is one of those Christmas movies that you really can enjoy all year round. It has enough laughs, fun and morals to be played anytime. Plus there is nothing wrong with Christmas cheer in February.

What a good movie for the whole family! It was filled with action and adventure. Plus the story line was what I appreciated most.
