Welcome to the August edition of monthly news!
My baby turned 19! Now both of my kids are adults!! That is a change in itself.
Won a weekend pass to Riverfest Elora. Saw The Sheepdogs and 54-40 perform, among a few lesser known bands, and that was cool. We only went the one day though. Work calls!
Other than that it was all about family as we get set for the next season to arrive.
What did you do this month that was out of the ordinary?

I must read another Catherine Mackenzie book, I enjoyed the one I did read. I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary in August, made me pause and think.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had another great month! Happy birthday to your baby and it sounds like you had a fun time at the Riverfest.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good month. I borrowed The Happiness Project from a friend at work so I could check it out.
ReplyDeleteSome intriguing titles here. Congrats for you having two adult kids now, me too.
ReplyDeleteI think I read The Alchemist awhile ago, but can't remember the details now. Looks like you had a great month!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read Fractured...and I LOVED Pretty Girls. I'm eagerly awaiting Slaughter's newest book. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteFive of my GRANDchildren are now "adults." LOL. Funny how quickly that happens.
Seems crazy how fast time goes by, right? I'm sure it will seem like no time before my kids are grown too. I already can't believe I'm the mom of a teen.

The What's in a Name challenge sounds like fun! I still haven't read any Coelho, but I keep meaning to.
ReplyDeleteTime does flies really fast! I'll be an adult too in a few months and not sure if I'm ready xD Anyway, seems like you have a great month! Hopefully that'll last until September :)
