Welcome to the May edition of monthly news!
This has been an eventful month for me personally. My daughter is home from college for the summer, so we have been doing lots of family activities together. Next weekend the four of us head to Medieval Times. We are all excited!
Have you started your family summer activities yet??

That is a high recommendation from you for Pretty Girls. I bought 17 books at a book sale to benefit the public libraries. Help! I am giving that many to the little free libraries in our neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great month for you. I used to read Karin Slaughter but she got a bit too graphic for me, but great writer. All the best for June.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a fun summer planned with your daughter! I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great month, and glad your daughter is home for a bit. Our son is home for a week, then heads back to work for the summer.
ReplyDeleteGreat month! I also loved Pretty Girls when I read it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your mother/daughter time!
I like Karin Slaughter but always seem to forget about her books till I see them on a library shelf. Will keep my eye out for this one.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying your time with your daughter!!

I hadn't heard of Karin Slaughter, but I'll definitely check her out now. I've also been curious about When I Was the Greatest, with that crocheted gun on the cover.
ReplyDeleteI liked Pretty Girls too and it will most likely be on my favorite of 2016 list. Medieval Times is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteMedieval Times sounds cool! Enjoy your time with your daughter.
