February Monthly News

Welcome to the February edition of monthly news!
Happy Leap Year!
Leap Year will never be the same for me. At 1pm est today, the dog I walk daily for the last 3 years has been put to rest. Between old age and severe allergies, she couldn't do it anymore. So rather than suffer, she is now in an eternal slumber. R.I.P. Missy. I'll miss you so much.

  2. I'm sorry to hear about Missy. It's always so hard to put an animal down, even when it's so they won't suffer. Hugs to you.

  5. Always sad when an animal has to be put down, but better than if suffering. My 91 year old Dad has just adopted a stray cat that was starving but friendly. Hope it works out for both of them. Have read one Terri Blackstock that I enjoyed but so long ago!

  6. Oh, how sad. We had to put my dog to sleep last year on Mother's Day (we were also celebrating my daughter's 11th birthday). As you can imagine, that put a damper on the celebrations. But we loved him and we know he's better off since he had gotten to the point where he couldn't stand. :-(

REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although

Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see. It doesn't take long to get light though. Thankfully. Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too. Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would
