January Monthly News

Welcome to the January edition of monthly news!
Happy new year to you all! I hope it's off to a great start.
For me, it's been bittersweet. While this new year has essentially been nothing to complain about in my personal life, we have had a funeral to attend when an extended family member died. He was 93 though, so instead of being sad, we mostly celebrated his life. R.I.P. Henry.
A ton of famous people have died this year already too. Is it something in the air?!
I didn't really make any resolutions this year, per say, but I did decide that I wasn't reviewing anything I didn't absolutely need in my life. I guess it was consuming my life and I needed to step back a bit.
Did you make any resolutions? Have they stuck or dissolved already?

  6. I'm sorry for your family's loss. I'm glad you could celebrate his life. :) I've heard that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is very short. I've only seen the movie and it's interesting to me that they made such a long movie out of such a short story.

Illumination and Universal Pictures present The Grinch, based on Dr. Seuss' beloved classic. The Grinch tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s generous spirit. Funny, heartwarming and visually stunning, The Grinch is fun for the whole family!

REVIEW:
Such great animation!
There was always something going on in this movie. Even though it was a story I have seen played out a million times and a million different ways, they all are different too. This had more of a story. It was very magical and is definitely fun for the whole family.
Want to point out, Max, the dog, stole the show for me. He is so adorable, even if animation. Such a good dog.
This is one of those Christmas movies that you really can enjoy all year round. It has enough laughs, fun and morals to be played anytime. Plus there is nothing wrong with Christmas cheer in February.
