A hip-hop mogul must choose between his three sons who are battling for control over his multi-million dollar company, while his ex-wife schemes to get what's hers. Starring, Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson.
What a great cast of characters. I absolutely love Cookie. She's been through hell and back again, and still rises above it all. She is fierce and smart as a whip, but it's her loyalty to her family that I admire most. Even those who maybe don't deserve it.
Terrance Howard was the reason I wanted to watch this series in the first place. I love him as an actor. His character in this show is an asshole though. Not likable at all, like seriously, he's so opposite of what I like in a person. That shows me how great an actor he is though, that I can hate his character so much.
The music is amazing. I love hip-hop, so I was groovin' and feeling it all throughout.
Packed with drama, and intense moments, this series is exciting and fast-paced. So many reasons to keep on watching!
