REVIEW:
I haven't read the book.
I had no idea I would need tissues for the movie. If I read the book, I would have known.
This film is very reminiscent of The Notebook, which I absolutely loved!
The story went between the present day, and a couple who are new to each other. That early not-sure-but-think-I'm-in-love phase. Then it flipped to Alan Alda's part in the movie where he would read his letters or tell stories from the past, remembering his love affair with his wife. Really, those were the best bits of the movie.
It was even more special watching the movie with my husband. Since we are newlyweds, it was super romantic, and that is probably why I cried so much. Such beautiful scenes.
Even the hubby said it was good and cute. That's when you know it is a good one, when he likes it.
This movie is Date Night Approved!  :-)

  1. Sounds like a very GOOD movie [date night approved...I like that reference]...tissues and all. Now, Scott Eastwood...is he relation to CLINT Eastwood you wonder. Will have to go to Google and find out.

    1. He is Clint's son. You can see it in his eyes. Very handsome.

REVIEW:
I sorta hated the beginning.
Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see.
It doesn't take long to get light though.
Thankfully.
Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too.
Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would be like if everyone thought you were o…

REVIEW: I loved the whole series, but especially loved this season as it wrapped it all up.  There were a couple of moments that were so incredibly tragic, but also a couple moments where the most tragic things couldn't have happened to better people. Take Sussy for example. God, how I hated that woman through the whole show and couldn't wait for her to get what was coming to her. Did she get it here? You have to watch and see! This is the season where you will sit on the edge of your seat, waiting to see who will win the kingdom. Does your favorite character prevail above the others? MIne d…

REVIEW: Boyfriend overload!!
The Rock, Jason Stathom and Ryan Reynolds in one film. Oh, my!
It was a great story, had tons of action and kick-ass moments. It was comical at times too. Everything I hoped for in this movie was there.
Just make sure you keep watching after the credits. It doesn't end when you think it does.
Watched with the hubby and he is a big fan. His exact words were, 'it was awesome'.
