Stars on Ice #JergensOnIce

Jergens

Jergens Canada and Lindt have once again stepped up to bring, Investors Group Stars On Ice. And I was once again lucky enough to be able to attend this star-studded night when it rolled into Hamilton, Ontario, my hometown. With it being Mother's Day weekend, I took my mom for a night to remember. Thanks, Jergens!

Stars On Ice
For the 25th anniversary of Stars On Ice, they have pulled out all the bells and whistles for the show. More glitz, more glamour and more dramatics than the last two years I attended. My favorite skater, Kurt Browning, was not only on the ice but also choreographed the show! It was incredible!

Pictured here is Kurt and Shawn Sawyer. Now this guy, Shawn, is crazy-amazeballs! He does back flips on the ice and even wore stilts! Yup, you read that right!

It was quite a performance by all, lemme tell ya. Plus, you find yourself singing along with the soundtrack and getting right into it.
I love the romantic pairs skating too. Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir always delight and give me goose flesh.

I also really love the romantic style of pairs skaters, Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje. They are very expressive ice dancers.

Simply incredibly. The skill, the talent and the dedication is evident with every movement. That really goes for all the skaters.

Normally, I would include a video right about now, sadly I deleted it. Too many people were talking over it, and I didn't want to mute the whole thing. I will just keep it for myself to watch over and over again... which I will, it is with Shawn Sawyer after all.

Last year and the year before, skaters fell, but this time not one skater teetered. They really gave it everything they had and the audience could feel it. Maybe it was the nostalgia that goes along with an anniversary, but you could see this tour was magical, special even. If you live in any of the cities that still have upcoming shows, I urge you to go. It is not very much money, and you will have the time of your life. Promise!

Thank you to the athletes that put on an amazing show, thanks to Investors Group, Jergens Canada, Lindt and World Vision also. You gave me memories to last a lifetime.

  2. Looks like a great show! I would love to see this. I watch ice skating on television but I think to see it live would be so much more amazing. Great post!

  3. LOVE watching ice skating. I haven't been to a show in years. Hope they're coming to the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.

I'm not familiar with Shawn Sawyer but I've loved Kurt Browning since I was a little girl.

    P.S. Yes, we're both that old :)

  4. I LOVE VIRTUE AND MOIR AND I WOULD PAY SO MUCH MONEY TO SEE THEM LIVE.

I was so obsessed with them the year they won Gold at the Olympics. Their free skate was the most gorgeous I've ever seen.

I got to see Stars on Ice a few years ago and it was so much fun! I hope you loved it!

Our heroes pull out all the stops to try and win the tournament, break the witch's hold on King Arthur, and find a way back to the present in this legendary story of Scooby Doo in King Arthur's Court. REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although

Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see. It doesn't take long to get light though. Thankfully. Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too. Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would
