#Recipe Mini Chicken Pot Pies

Mini Chicken Pot Pie
Every time we eat Swiss Chalet, the hubby gets Chicken Pot Pie. I don't care for savory pies though so it's not something I order. Then I had an idea to use biscuits instead of pie dough. OMG, delicious! These savory buns got devoured!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 packages of Pillsbury Country Biscuit refrigerated dough.
  • 1 cup cut up cooked chicken breast
  • 1 cup of mixed veggies
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can of cream of chicken condensed soup
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
METHOD
Preheat oven to 425F.
In a bowl, combine all ingredients listed except the dough. Set aside.
Using a muffin pan, take the portion of biscuit dough, and form it gently with your fingers in each hole. Make sure to make them deep enough so you get enough mixture in them.
Once you have them ready, fill them to the top but not overflowing with the mixture. Then place them in the over for 20 minutes or so, until they are golden brown.
Don't worry, they come apart very easy, but let stand for 1-2 minutes when you bring them out of the oven.

Makes 10.

  1. OMG, Freda! These sound so scrumptious. When I was a kid my mom made chicken pot pie but it was a big one and I always wanted more crust. And biscuit dough? Nothing better!

  8. Your recipe also inspired me to get creative , and I use ground beef, chopped onions and bbq sauce and the Pillsbury biscuits on top, it was really good.

  9. These are a great idea! Biscuit mix is the perfect crust, and these don't have to be eaten with a fork.

REVIEW:
I sorta hated the beginning.
Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see.
It doesn't take long to get light though.
Thankfully.
Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too.
Sydney is badass and shows it throughout. Can you imagine what it would be like if everyone thought you were o…

REVIEW: I loved the whole series, but especially loved this season as it wrapped it all up.  There were a couple of moments that were so incredibly tragic, but also a couple moments where the most tragic things couldn't have happened to better people. Take Sussy for example. God, how I hated that woman through the whole show and couldn't wait for her to get what was coming to her. Did she get it here? You have to watch and see! This is the season where you will sit on the edge of your seat, waiting to see who will win the kingdom. Does your favorite character prevail above the others? MIne d…

REVIEW: Inside the prize pack my family received, was some super cool experiments to try. Here is a snap of our Levitation adventures;

It was so much fun to do! It was super cool to watch the tinsel levitate too! Then we sat to watch the movie.
What a good movie for the whole family! It was filled with action and adventure. Plus the story line was what I appreciated most.
The hubby had lots to say about this one. He was happiest that the film focused on one of the original Spider-man nemesis', Mysterio. He is one of the best Ma…
