A dire prophecy has emerged, and the mer believe that humans and merfolk are in grave danger. Terror is closing in, but only one person holds the key to stopping it: Florence Waverley. However, her mission to save two worlds will lead her far, far out into the Darkness--a shadow-realm full of monsters, magic, and wicked tides that could tear apart bodies.

With the help of her friends, Florry must uncover a secret about humans and mer. A long-lost secret that could change her life. And above all else, she must fight hard to light the darkness. Everything depends on her mission: her friends, her world, and the one she loves.

The past, present, and future are about to collide--but can she stay afloat? One way or another, nothing will be the same when she enters the Darkness.

REVIEW:
I need more!
I'm pretty positive the next book is about Kiren. That excites me even more.
I love Florence and Roland still. Everything you could ever want for them and more, happens.
Of course there are major perils along the way. I really did wonder, at one point, if this would be the end of it all. I'm so glad I was way off base.
Such a wonderful, vibrant, dangerous and beautiful world Ciye Cho has created. I don't think I could ever get enough.
If you haven't read this series, please do. It's mer-tastic!

5/5

Gabrielle Union stars as a woman who will stop at nothing to rescue her two children being held hostage in a house designed with impenetrable security. No trap, no trick and especially no man inside can match a mother with a mission when she is determined on Breaking In. Producers Will Packer (No Good Deed, Obsessed) and Union (Almost Christmas, Being Mary Jane) reunite for this original thriller directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Sense8).

REVIEW: So much better than I anticipated. One fierce, strong and smart mom comes to the rescue of her whole family. These guys who took her kids, don't stand a chance. She's not a MMA fighter or anything, but she is smart and resourceful. I was so in tune with the film, and as a mom, I was on the edge-of-my-set waiting for her to give them what they deserved. No one should take a womans' kids.  Men and women will both love this movie, so  maybe a date nigh…
