I live on the Gulf Coast and while Katrina didn't hit us like it did New Orleans, we still have the scars like the ones described in your quote. Some were from the year before when Ivan devastated us. I'm curious about this book.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to New Orleans since Katrina but I remember going to Biloxi almost ten years after Camille and you could still see damage very much like what is described here. Sounds like an interesting read!
