#Giveaway: Cress (Audiobook) - Marissa Meyer (With Excerpt)

The Lunar Chronicles.
Probably my favorite series ever. Best part is, it's not over yet. There's more coming in January 2015.
If you read my posts on a regular, you know how much I love these books. Seriously, I think they should be made into a tv show or films. I can't stress that enough. Lo and behold, I heard they are making Cinder into a movie! Oh, I hope it's true. I would pay big bucks to see that!
So recently I finished Cress. Now I am caught up until the next book comes. You should go see my review, and then pop back here.

Now give a listen to this excerpt of Chapter One.

AND NOW THE GIVEAWAY

In this third book in Marissa Meyer's bestselling Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and prevent her army from invading Earth.
Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl trapped on a satellite since childhood who’s only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s being forced to work for Queen Levana, and she’s just received orders to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is splintered. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a higher price than she’d ever expected. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai, especially the cyborg mechanic. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

  2. Ooo, I really like the choice of narrator, the voice is really good for the story. I also like how she changes her tone occasionally to give the story a bit more depth beyond just words being spoken. It's something that I would definitely listen to.

  3. I like the narrators voice. She's good. I'm super super super picky about the voices in audiobooks, I mean,,,house spending listening to something I can read much faster (can you tell I only listen occasionally to audiobooks?) but I haven't read Cress yet, and I'd totally love this. That's really cool they're making a movie of Cinder. *goes to google it* lol
    Thanks for the giveaway Freda!

  4. Awesome excerpt! It sounds like the narrator works well with the story. I like audiobooks, when they are done well, and this one sounds great!

Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although
