So after you pour it in, 2/3 full, you add the wick, and leave it to set 20 minutes. Then the fun part comes... You light it on fire. You have to let it burn for 2 minutes. This gets the fragrance going through. It's like magic. Then you blow it out and put the protective cap on. I warn you, do not touch the cap with your bare fingers after putting it on for any reason. You will burn yourself.
