Cinder tilted her chin up, fixing her gaze on the man. Beside her, Wolf lowered himself into a fighting position, his fingers curled and ready, all at Cinder's urging. For the first time, she felt a spike of new emotion from him. Hatred, she thought. For her.
She ignored it.

I hope you had a great vacation. I'm just back from a short one myself. Hard to get back into the groove of things. Welcome back!

  3. Okay, so how is this book? I've been wanting to know from "like" minded readers (which I consider you to be). Shall I just wait for your review? ;)

  4. I know how that is. Now that the whole family comes with us on vacation, I don't read diddly squat.

  6. I did the same thing last week. Had all of these high expectations to read while I was on vacation, but then time got away from me and I ended up reading the same book for nearly two weeks.

I'm interested in this series. I recently bought Cinder, so hopefully I can get to it soon.

    Thanks for sharing!

  8. I'm on vacation right now, too. I brought four books with me and two audiobooks. So far I've finished one book and will finish the second today. Not as much reading time as I anticipated!
