Cinder tilted her chin up, fixing her gaze on the man. Beside her, Wolf lowered himself into a fighting position, his fingers curled and ready, all at Cinder's urging. For the first time, she felt a spike of new emotion from him. Hatred, she thought. For her.
She ignored it.

I hope you had a great vacation. I'm just back from a short one myself. Hard to get back into the groove of things. Welcome back!

  3. Okay, so how is this book? I've been wanting to know from "like" minded readers (which I consider you to be). Shall I just wait for your review? ;)

  4. I know how that is. Now that the whole family comes with us on vacation, I don't read diddly squat.

  6. I did the same thing last week. Had all of these high expectations to read while I was on vacation, but then time got away from me and I ended up reading the same book for nearly two weeks.

I'm interested in this series. I recently bought Cinder, so hopefully I can get to it soon.

    Thanks for sharing!

  8. I'm on vacation right now, too. I brought four books with me and two audiobooks. So far I've finished one book and will finish the second today. Not as much reading time as I anticipated!

Our heroes pull out all the stops to try and win the tournament, break the witch's hold on King Arthur, and find a way back to the present in this legendary story of Scooby Doo in King Arthur's Court. REVIEW: It was weird starting off with a He-Man lookalike, Thunder the Barabarian), until I realized a character from the film was watching the cartoon in the airplane. Still, it was kind of cool to reminice about two cartoons from my childhood. So many great actors bring the film to life! What a fun story it was too! Although

As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel while she desperately tries to prove she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.  REVIEW: I sorta hated the beginning. Starts outs so dark that you can't really make anything out. Hard to know what's going on if you can't see. It doesn't take long to get light though. Thankfully. Man, does the story ever pick up after that. I don't remember much about the original but this one is intense. Right to the very last second too. Sydney is badass and shows it throughout.
