REVIEW:
I read this in the wrong sequence, but that's okay. It is supposed to come before Scarlet. Still I didn't feel weird or anything when I read it. I felt it could easily be a stand-alone short story, since it didn't really piece anything together. It told its own story and only referenced to Cinder once, minimally, so I was pretty glued as to what was going on.
I like this story but am not sure where this Star character comes into play. The connections are just not there yet.
So it may not be pertinent to the other books and answer burning questions, it still was a good few minutes of my time to read it. Fans of the series should definitely check it out.
