When one of the daughters becomes engaged to a wealthy newcomer, a series of events forces her mother to admit to her daughters that they are, in fact, powerful and immortal witches. AVAILABLE NOW! 418 minutes 3 discs REVIEW: This show started out a little cheesy, but by the end of the first episode I wanted more. It did remind me of Charmed, but that was okay, I liked that show too. I really like the actresses in this show though. Julia Ormand is one of my faves and it is nice to see her in it. There were times in the show where the visual effects and elements stole the show. Those scenes were pretty cool. The best part of the storyline, which I can't divulge without ruining the show, got better as the episodes went along. I ended up really liking this show a

When Aislynn’s mother dies under suspicious conditions, her father doubles his restrictions. But all his precautions can’t stop the boy with glowing green eyes from finding Aislynn. #52: The Ocean at the End of the Lane - Neil Gaiman

A middle-aged man returns to his childhood home to attend a funeral. Although the house he lived in is long gone, he is drawn to the farm at the end of the road, where, when he was seven, he encountered a most remarkable girl, Lettie Hempstock, and her mother and grandmother. He hasn't thought of Lettie in decades, and yet as he sits by the pond (a pond that she'd claimed was an ocean) behind the ramshackle old farmhouse where she once lived, the unremembered past comes flooding back. And it is a past too strange, too frightening, too dangerous to have happened to anyone, let alone a small boy. A groundbreaking work as delicate as a butterfly's wing and as menacing as a knife in the dark,  The Ocean at the End of the Lane  is told with a rare understanding of all that makes us human, and shows the power of stories to reveal and shelter us from the darkness inside and out. I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou

The free bird leaps on the back of the wind and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wings in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky. But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with fearful trill of the things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill  for the caged bird sings of freedom The free bird thinks of another breeze and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the sky his own. But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.  Here is my tattoo
